Utility firm Complete Utilities has bolstered its sizable fleet with the addition of three Skoda Fabia models and an Octavia vRS.
All arriving in the striking Rallye Green hue, the four new cars will help Complete Utilities to cover its core servicing areas in the Midlands and South West, providing design, build, operations and maintenance services for water and power networks.
The cars will operate out from the firm’s central depot near Gloucester, and even more new models are anticipated once its current fleet comes to the end of its cycle.
With a large area to cover, Complete Utilities was drawn to the Fabia for its efficiency and reliability, as well as its sleek design and award-winning performance.
The Fabia is one of the safest small cars on the market, with a maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety rating and features such as a driver-enabled speed limiter, side airbags, curtain airbags and front airbags.
Meanwhile, the Octavia vRS estate focuses on practicality with a 610-litre boot space that opens up to 1,740 litres with the rear seats down. Other attractive features include the eight-inch Amundsen sat-nav display, integrated Wi-Fi, LED daytime running lights and three-spoke leather multi-function steering wheel.
John Dowds, fleet manager at Complete Utilities, said the company considered several manufacturers when deciding on their new fleet vehicles, but Skoda seemed to be the perfect choice.
“Following many road tests and comparisons, it was the Skoda brand that not only provided us with cost-saving efficiencies and safety features, but the Rallye Green was an exact match to our corporate colour – which reinforces our brand image and represents our commitment to sustainability,” he commented.
Ellie Baker, brand manager at Fuel Card Services, added: “The Octavia vRS is sure to be a standout model on the Complete Utilities fleet.”
