Triple win for Vauxhall at What Van Awards

Vauxhall has picked up a trio of top titles at this year’s What Van? Awards.

The manufacturer was praised for a number of its models, which stood out from the rest in this year’s categories.

Big wins for the Movano and Combo Cargo

The Movano large van was named the overall Light Commercial Vehicle of the Year and Large Van of the Year, while the Combo Cargo picked up the Light Van of the Year award for the second consecutive year.

James Dallas, editor at What Van?, described the Movano as being a “powerful” entrant into this year’s awards, with special praise reserved for its wide choice of loading capacities in both front- and rear-wheel drive options.

“A sophisticated and practical cabin serves as a genuine mobile office and Vauxhall has also thrown a host of driver-assistance features into the mix. This Movano has set the bar high for whatever succeeds it,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Mr Dallas also spoke highly of the Combo Cargo, describing the vehicle as “leading the pack” in the light commercial vehicle segment.

He added that the model offers cutting-edge technology and extensive storage space, as well as a wide selection of engine and transmission options that see it “holding its own” with the best in class.
