Vauxhall has secured three impressive titles at this year’s Trade Van Driver Awards.
The manufacturer received recognition for its Vivaro, Combo Cargo and Movano models.
A hat-trick of titles
Vauxhall’s all-new Vivaro was named winner in the Best Newcomer category and was described by judges as being “chic, stylish, hugely practical and cost effective”.
It follows the model’s official public unveiling at this year’s CV Show in Birmingham.
Meanwhile, the marque also received the Best Small Trades Van accolade for its Combo Cargo model. Completing the hat-trick of titles was the Movano in the Best Trader’s Choice segment.
Trade Van Driver Magazine editor Matthew Eisenegger commented: “Trade Van Driver Magazine prides itself on offering a true reflection of the thoughts and feelings of its readership.”
He added it is therefore great to see Vauxhall resonating so strongly with the British public at present.
This latest run of awards adds to Vauxhall’s prolific start to the year. Indeed, the Combo Cargo has proven quite the doyen of awards nights over recent months, being named International Van of the Year 2019, as well as both Light Van of the Year 2019 and Light Commercial Vehicle of the Year 2019 by What Van?.
The model was also named Van Fleet World Van of the Year and Small Van of the Year at the Great British Fleet Awards.
Ellie Baker, brand manager at Fuel Card Services, comments: “Vauxhall has cleaned up at this year’s Trade Van Driver Awards. It highlights the considerable strength in depth of the manufacturer’s light commercial vehicle range.”
