Practitioner workshops continue to empower FORS members to move forward

1st August 2016

The FORS Practitioner workshops continue to go from strength to strength, providing indispensable tools and information for transport managers to implement, to ensure they are promoting best practice.

Bradley Etheridge, Customer Service and Distribution Supervisor, Brett Aggregates Ltd., and his team have attended the workshops and found a number of ways to improve the running of the business. “We have found the workshops very useful. With a number of our team having started in different industries, these workshops have been a great tool to help them fully understand why compliance is important for our business as well as finding ways to better implement it” said Bradley.

FORS Practitioner workshops are designed to keep fleet managers up to date with industry developments and best practice in safe, green and efficient operations and to help companies maintain and progress through their FORS accreditation. “The courses cover a great range of topics, which has been really beneficial for my team” added Bradley. “Having sponsors for the workshops means that they are more engaging and you gain a better understanding when companies show you how to do something rather than just telling you to do it.”

In 2016 the workshops remain fully funded as a benefit of your FORS membership. Delegates completing all nine modules in the series are awarded the FORS Practitioner qualification, and there are currently nearly 500 FORS Practitioners.
