Peugeot has announced an update to its Expert range of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) for 2019.

The manufacturer will introduce new Euro 6.2 (Euro 6d temp) engines that are compliant with the EU’s Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP).

New levels of trim to delight drivers

The new Expert range will feature four levels of trim: S, Professional, GRIP and ASPHALT.

Prices will start from £21,320 OTR for the basic S model, rising to £34,035 OTR for the top-end ASPHALT.

All levels of trim include the manufacturer’s stop/start technology and all engines comply with the latest Euro 6.2 requirements and WLTP fuel consumption and emissions testing criteria.

Both the S and Professional models are largely unchanged from the current range (with the exception of the new engines), while the GRIP and ASPHALT bring a host of new features.

The Expert GRIP comes with the manufacturer’s Connected 3D Navigation system and DAB radio with voice recognition, as well as 180-degree Park Assist, front and rear sensors with blind spot monitoring and 17-inch ‘Phoenix’ alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, the top-end ASPHALT level of trim includes Peugeot’s Connect SOS and Assistance driver safety aids and built-in telematics solutions. It also comes with a three-year free Connected 3D Navigation subscription, offering drivers live traffic, weather, fuel and parking information.

The revised Expert range will be available to UK buyers from May this year.

Ellie Baker, brand manager at Fuel Card Services, comments: “The new Expert range will be a welcome addition to many fleets. It brings new features to benefit drivers and ensures full WLTP compliance to bolster sustainability.”
