French automotive manufacturer Peugeot has announced the opening of reservations for its new 208 GT line-up.
The updated range will be available for delivery by late 2019, but customers can now register their interest and place orders with the marque. Open sale of the new model range will begin in the UK from 2020.
What does the new 208 GT bring to the table?
Offering an early glimpse at the future design direction of the Peugeot brand, the new 208 GT line-up is stylish and contemporary, featuring sharp lines to attract the eye and a bulkier presence than previous versions.
David Peel, managing director of Peugeot UK, commented: “This is a hugely exciting model for us.
“Not only does the all-new 208 deliver on our promise of sharp styling, uncompromising quality and an instinctive driving experience, but the 208 features our first new generation fully electric vehicle, the all-new Peugeot e-208.”
Three versions are now available for order from the marque – Peugeot’s GT Line PureTech 100 S&S 8-speed automatic (EAT8), BlueHDi 100 6-speed manual or the 100 per cent-electric e-208 model.
Customers are now able to reserve online prior to the full production release of the 208 GT range with a deposit of just £500.
Ellie Baker, brand manager at Fuel Card Services, comments: “The new 208 GT is sure to prove popular among UK buyers, with fleet managers up and down the country looking set to add these models to the delight of their drivers.”
