Company car drivers and fleet decision makers are being invited to weigh up the current range from Mercedes-Benz this week.

The exclusive Fleet Experience event will be held by the German carmaker at its Mercedes-Benz World site – home of the famous Brooklands racing circuit in Weybridge, Surrey – on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th July.

The event aims to give fleet customers the opportunity to test drive its latest models including the new E-Class range and the A-Class – the brand’s best-selling model.

Staging the event at Mercedes-Benz World gives customers the perfect opportunity to experience the premium brand and learn more about the company’s future strategy.

Fleet guests will also have the chance to witness the latest in driving assistance technology with the new E-Class, which went on sale in April. Additionally, there will be a range of demonstrations to highlight the drive pilot feature and autonomous braking systems.

Rob East, head of fleet at Mercedes-Benz Cars, explained why the company has made the effort to stage its first ever fleet-focussed event.

“The customer experience is a crucial part of our ongoing fleet strategy; we want to create an emotional bond between our brand and our customers,” he commented.

“Mercedes-Benz World is the perfect venue to showcase our newest technology and to get guests behind the wheel both on-road and on the track. I’m confident the event will be both valuable and insightful.”

Molly Benton, brand manager at Fuel Card Services, adds: “It’s great to see that Mercedes-Benz – a brand that performs well consistently in the monthly sales chart – has gone the extra mile to impress fleet customers and show exactly potential buyers what its cars are capable of.”
