Golf GTI TCR available for UK fleets

Fleet operators have the opportunity to add a bit of flair to their offerings this month, with the news that the new Golf GTI TCR is now available in the UK.
Volkswagen has confirmed its new race-inspired model will be a welcome addition to its GTI range.
Sleek lines and impressive performance
Capturing the classic Golf look but updating it to take into account its racing pedigree, the new GTI TCR (Touring Car Racing) is everything one could wish for in a sporty hatchback.
The model is packed with all of the latest gadgets and technologies and comes with several option packs to choose from. This means the range of customisations is extensive, so buyers can be sure there’s an option to suit them.
Meanwhile, under the bonnet, the GTI TCR produces an impressive 290 PS that propels it from zero to 62 mph in just 5.6 seconds. It also has a limited top speed of 164 mph.
Geraldine Ingham, head of marketing at Volkswagen UK, said: “The arrival of any new Golf GTI is always a big moment but, with the debut of this exclusive and track-inspired car, I think we are seeing the debut of a future GTI icon.”
The model will have a starting price of £34,135 OTR and is now available to order.
