Continental named Best Tyre winner at Honest John Awards

The UK’s Best Tyre 2019 has been named as Continental’s AllSeasonContact product.
It picked up the impressive accolade at this year’s Honest John Kit Awards.
Meeting the challenge of UK weather
Designed to be the brand’s first-ever all season tyre for Europe, the manufacturer ensured the product is “ideally suited to the UK’s milder climate”.
Continental’s AllSeasonContact tyre is available in sizes ranging from 14 to 20 inches and has been widely tested on a range of road conditions throughout the year.
Tracey Mortimer, marketing director at Continental, said: “We are thrilled to have another award win under our belt for the AllSeasonContact. We only launched this product in the UK last winter, so it is wonderful that it is being received so well.
“Once again, our technical expertise has created a tyre that performs exceptionally well with grip, braking, noise levels and fuel efficiency.”
This is the second award win for the tyre in the UK following its launch. It was also rated best in the Auto Express all-season tyre tests, which took place at the end of 2018.
