Fleet operators across the UK should keep a close eye on the latest release from Alfa Romeo, with Fleet World Honours naming the marque’s new Giulia model as ‘one to watch’ in 2016.
The Giulia picked up the inaugural One to Watch Award from the acclaimed industry commentators, with the accolade a strong recommendation of the model ahead of its full UK release later this year.
Highlighting its excellent fuel efficiency and green credentials among the standout features that are likely to make the vehicle extremely attractive to fleet buyers in the months ahead, the judging panel also praised Alfa’s commitment to safety in its latest design.
Outlining the current buzz surrounding the Giulia, the Fleet World Honours judging panel stated: “The Giulia looks set to transform Alfa Romeo’s fleet presence.
“A stylish return to the compact executive class after a five-year hiatus, it’s underpinned by a new chassis with a focus on driver enjoyment and will be offered with a pair of diesel engines for fleets.
“With work underway to ensure competitive whole-life costs, it’s an exciting addition to the sector.”
A new category added by Fleet World Honours this year, the One to Watch Award has been designed to be a standard bearer for the best up-and-coming models across the full span of the fleet sector.
It hopes to provide UK fleet managers with plenty of food for thought when considering their next fleet purchase.
