Fleet operators hoping to make their drivers happy may wish to invest in the latest Jaguar XE, after the model picked up the title of this year's Compact Executive Car of the Year.
Named the winner in this competitive awards category by Auto Express, the XE has now triumphed in the sector for the third year in a row. Moreover, this latest accolade is the 60th in total for the Jaguar XE, and marks the model as the standout leader in the executive car segment.
Explaining the judge's decision, editor-in-chief of Auto Express Steve Fowler said: "With a consistent flow of model updates always arriving, the Jaguar XE has stayed ahead of the pack, years after it first launched.
"It's stylish and luxurious, but it's also a joy to drive and makes a great deal of sense to fleet buyers, too."
Furthermore, it's not just its stunning looks and drivability that have helped the XE to fend off competition from its rivals, as the model is also one of the greenest in its class, with fuel economy of up to 75 mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 99 g/km.
There's no surprise then that the XE has, for another year, beaten all-comers and retained its crown.
Molly Benton, brand manager at Fuel Card Services, adds: "The Jaguar XE continues to set the standard for fleets in the type of vehicle that executives want to drive. It's therefore great to see the model retain this prestigious title from Auto Express for another year."
