FCS helps to raise funds for Oliver to support his fight against cancer

Written by Ellie

Oliver Stephenson is just four years old and was diagnosed in January with neuroblastoma – doctors found a tumour on his kidney and the cancer had spread to his bone marrow, skull and eye sockets.

At Fuel Card Services (FCS), we’re helping to raise funds for his treatment and to support his family – mum Laura, dad James and younger brother Alfie who is two.

Such a worthy cause that needs our support

A Just Giving page has been set up by Oliver’s parents with the target of raising £230,000, which will go towards much-needed treatments in the US once Oliver has completed his treatment under the NHS.

We want to help ensure Oliver has the best possible chance to make a full recovery, so our Leeds office recently held a Sales Incentive Day to raise funds for such a heartwarming and worthwhile cause.

There was a dress down day that cost £1 per person, while there was also a raffle that helped to raise more funds.

Finally, the management team are going all out to give a boost to our fundraising efforts by taking part in ‘Pie a Manager’ – anyone who donates to Oliver’s Just Giving page will have free rein to pie a manager of their choice.

We wish all the best to Oliver and his family during this difficult time and hope the money we raise will go some way to helping the Stephensons reach their goal.

At FCS, our people are the heart of our business and we are constantly striving for excellence. We are always looking for new people to join our ever-expanding team.

Join us today and fuel your career with FCS.
