Our Oxford (Wantage) Office:
Early in 2008, from a temporary base in an Abingdon business centre, six people set out to change the world of fuel cards. By 2010, The Fuelcard People – now one of the industry’s best-known names – was ready to move on. We considered what we wanted from a headquarters and Wantage, where many of us had worked previously, ticked every box.
A growing town, with lots to offer any business, it is perfect for serving a constantly increasing nationwide customer base – and if Wantage was good enough for Alfred the Great, it is good enough for us. Permanently established in Manor Farm with a team of over 30 people. The offices have always been fitted out with the state-of-the-art systems for which we are known, but there is more to life than work.
As our name suggests, people matter to us. So, when we are ready for a breather, we head for the breakout area. The kitchen, properly equipped, means that a break offers more than a quick cuppa. We can watch television from the comfiest of leather sofas, or lounge in beanbags for a chat. If lobbing magnetic darts at the dartboard is not energetic enough, table football awaits. How did the company choose the amenities? It didn’t, the people did. We’re that sort of organisation, as you will see when you come to Wantage.
