We are the UK’s largest independent fuel card supplier (a division of DCC Plc) and have recently expanded our offices in Wantage, Oxfordshire, from which we offer fuel accounts to businesses across the UK.

An opportunity has arisen for a rising star in the marketing space to join Fuel Card Services in our Wantage office.

We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join us and really grow their experience. Reporting to the Marketing Team Leader you’ll be responsible for the promotion of allocated brands within Fuel Card Group working on projects and development work as necessary.

You’ll be experienced in working within a busy creative office and you’ve use the Adobe Creative Suite of Photoshop and Dreamweaver and have some knowledge of email automation systems and you’ll have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes too.

Requirements:

  • You’ll be an incredible communicator with professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to organise and prioritise will be second nature.
  • Resilience when working under pressure with a strong work ethic, punctuality and reliability.
  • You’ll also be results driven and target conscious with the ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

In return we offer:

Your starting salary will be £18,000 per annum plus a bonus earning potential of £4,000 per year.

As our Data Analyst you’ll be responsible for the production of regular and ad-hoc analyses, reports and insights to facilitate the optimisation of quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction. You’ll have incredible eye for detail and will be able to offer insight into trends and key facts by mining along varying data seams of the reports and views currently in place.

To be successful in this role you’ll be able to solve critical and complex data oriented business questions relating to customer and prospect behaviours, you’ll be comfortable in delivering highly detailed insight, analysis, interpretation and profiling that supports key marketing, commercial and operational decision making throughout the business too.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, persuasive people, who have a strong and professional work ethic to join our team. No experience necessary as full training will be given but as most of your work will be on the telephone, a friendly, inquisitive and helpful telephone manner is essential.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Following up web enquiries about our range of fixed price and pump priced cards with a phone call, email or fax to obtain the business, promptly, professionally and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain regular and professional contact with customers
  • Plan and prioritise your daily workload
  • Respond to, and follow up sales enquiries
  • Update all customer records on our CRM system
  • Manage your own accounts
  • Ability to keep yourself motivated
