Scaffolding company constructs fleet savings with fuel cards

Fuel cards can benefit any business that operates company vehicles and one of our latest clients is living proof of that.

Manchester-based 3D Scaffolding prides itself on delivering safe and innovative scaffolding solutions that have facilitated major projects.

A flexible and cost-efficient fuel solution is essential and that’s precisely what Fuel Card Services delivers.

Those aren’t our words though, it’s the view of the company’s fleet decision maker Jan Hartley, who said: “Fuel Card Services provided an extremely swift setup and were very helpful throughout the whole process.

“They really saved us money.”

Jan was impressed with the level of customer service from her account manager Robyn Hartley too, adding: “We had a query after setup and Robyn sorted it immediately.”

Ellie Baker, brand manager at Fuel Card Services, commented: “This is yet another success story to add to the constantly increasing number of happy clients.”

FORS hosts Going for Bronze workshop for operators in Northern Ireland

FORS is hosting a free workshop specifically for road transport operators in Northern Ireland to highlight how FORS voluntary accreditation can help businesses raise standards.

The free FORS ‘Going for Bronze’ workshop is due to take place at Transport Training Services in Crumlin on 22nd November, and is open to all operators who wish to find out more about FORS.

The event will give attendees the chance to engage with the FORS Northern Ireland team to become more familiar with how FORS works to promote high standards across the road transport industry with respect to safety, efficiency and environmental protection.

With the launch of the new FORS Standard version 5 at its annual Members’ Conference in October, the Northern Ireland event also seeks to explore the new FORS Standard, highlighting how operators can start their FORS journey with FORS Bronze accreditation, the first stage in the progressive scheme.

Peter Morrow, FORS Manager – Northern Ireland, said, “For operators who are not yet FORS members, the workshop is a chance to meet us under no obligation, ask questions, chat with other operators and find out the specifics of how to become FORS Bronze accredited.”

Regional Members Briefing

A separate FORS Members Briefing will also be held on 22nd November, for operators who are already FORS members.  The briefing will discuss the roll out of the new FORS Standard version 5, due to come into effect on 14th January 2019, with updates on FORS activity in the region, an open discussion around ongoing industry issues and trends

Peter Morrow said, “The Regional Briefing will give FORS members in Northern Ireland  the chance to discuss the key changes within the new FORS Standard in detail,  with the FORS team serving their area.”
